Regional Government updates ISP tax rates in Madeira
Through Ordinance no. 126/2026, the Regional Government of Madeira has updated the unit rates of the Tax on Petroleum and Energy Products (ISP), aiming to mitigate the impact of rising raw material prices on families and businesses.
New unit rates (per 1000 liters):
- Unleaded gasoline (IO95): €459.08
- Road diesel: €278.00
- Colored and marked diesel: €33.50
The measure, which amends Ordinance no. 10/2015, enters into force the day after its publication, with practical effects starting from March 23, 2026.
