Regional Government boosts investment in infrastructure and public services
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved, through several ordinances published in the Official Journal (JORAM), the scheduling of budgetary charges for strategic projects in the Region:
- Porto Santo Local Health Unit (Phase 2 - A): Ordinance no. 135/2026 redistributes a total amount of €28,997,000.00, with allocations of €3,357,827.81 in 2026, €11,823,080.94 in 2027, and €13,816,091.25 in 2028.
- APRAM - Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A.: Ordinance no. 134/2026 amends the program contract for investment expenditure co-financing, totaling €7,017,773.02, with multi-annual scheduling until 2028.
- Fire network and paving in Porto Santo: Ordinance no. 131/2026 authorizes €1,468,902.70 for the access works between Camacha and Pico do Facho, under the PRODERAM20 project.
- SRE-DRPRI infrastructure maintenance: Ordinance no. 133/2026 enables the acquisition of maintenance services (electrical, HVAC, swimming pools) in a multi-annual value amounting to over 1.4 million euros between 2026 and 2028.
- School meals: Ordinance no. 132/2026 authorizes the tender for the acquisition of meals for daycare centers and the 1st Cycle (2027-2029), with an annual charge of €7,230,304.94.
