Regional Government extends four collective labor agreements in Madeira
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth, has published four extension ordinances, aiming to standardize minimum working conditions and promote social cohesion in several economic sectors of the Region.
- Extension Ordinance No. 5/2026: Extends the Collective Labor Agreement (CCT) between the Funchal Commercial and Industrial Association - Madeira Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Road Transport and Metallurgical Workers of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for the Heavy Public Passenger and Tourist Transport sector. The extension expressly excludes workers affiliated with the National Union of Drivers and Other Workers - SNMOT.
- Extension Ordinance No. 6/2026: Expands the company agreement between the Santo da Serra Golf Club Sports Association and the Union of Workers in Hospitality, Tourism, Food, Services and Similar Sectors of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, covering the revision of the salary scale and pecuniary clauses.
- Extension Ordinance No. 7/2026: Applies the CCT between the Funchal Commercial and Industrial Association - Madeira Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Road Transport and Metallurgical Workers of the Autonomous Region of Madeira to professionals in garages, service stations, parking lots, gas stations, tire assistance, gas resale, and car washing.
- Extension Ordinance No. 8/2026: Extends the CCT between the Funchal Commercial and Industrial Association - Madeira Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Road Transport and Metallurgical Workers of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for the Driving Schools sector.
